several sources around the planet and compare the different prices in a nice summary table..

Moreover, the German Technical Cooperation (GTZ) has published a list of worldwide gasoline prices by country every year since 1991, find more here .


The Australian Institute of Petroleum also shows a comparison of international petrol and diesel prices and taxes:

For example, cars and light trucks sold in the March 2012 had a combined 24.1 mpg (9.75 L/100 km) rating, a 1% improvement on the record set in February 2012.
Interestingly, this was the first time the index has risen above 24 mpg (9.79 L/100 km).
